Haus of Dahab’s Mahraganat Brooklyn

Haus of Dahab’s Mahraganat in Brooklyn is a queer party that blends mahraganat—a genre of Egyptian electronic music—with other club genres from all over the world. On January 25, they're throwing a party at TV Eye in Ridgewood that will blend techno, live music and hip-hop, brought to you by DJUNKIE and DADA COZMIC. The result will be a high energy, only-in-New-York type function that, in the their words, will feel like an "Egyptian fever dream." You can also expect a performance by Electric Zikrayat, a tanoura dancer, who will move to the party's eclectic and forward-looking sounds.
