Under the musical alias Actress, U.K. producer Darren Cunningham creates beautifully crafted soundscapes that flow effortlessly despite their detailed patterns. Check out 2018's Lageos, a sublime collaboration with the London Contemporary Orchestra, for a taste of his scorched-earth version of dance music, much of which has been released on venerable label Ninja Tune as well as his own Werkdiscs.
