Cheetos has been dipping its Cheeto dust-covered toes into fashion as of late. Recently, the snack brand dropped a collaboration with Forever21, proudly featuring Chester the Cheeto on tube tops, embroidered socks and other designs. For this September's New York Fashion Week, the snack brand is hosting an invite-only runway show with a roster of Cheetos-inspired beauty looks.
Didn't get the invite? Cheetos still wants to help you "look like a snack" and, to do so, they've launched Cheetos House of Flamin' Haute, a beauty bar where you can get a Cheetos-inspired makeover for free on September 6th and 7th only.
The limited-time complimentary beauty bar will offer services like "Cheeto Dust Nails," "Dangerously Cheesy Brows" and "Fiery Flamin’ Hot Eye Makeup." Cheetah tail braids come with three color options: Flamin' Hot, Cheesy, or Flamin' Hot Limón. There are also Cheetos-inspired hair charms, but, perhaps most importantly, a Cheeto-shaped barrette clip that we might actually wear. Flame on!
"Cheetahs don’t love to get wet (or maybe it's just Chester), so the House of Flamin' Haute is a dry style bar! Please come to your appointment with clean, dry hair and/or natural, unpolished nails, so you can get the full Cheetos look!" the House of Flamin' Haute writes on its website. You must book an appointment in advance and you should expect it to take an hour.
Cheetos, of course, has also been in the news lately for it's upcoming appearance in an Eva Longoria-directed movie called Flamin' Hot — the story traces Richard Montañez, who was a Mexican-American janitor at a Frito-Lay plant, who invented the beloved spicy flavor.
So which Cheetos beauty look are you? We're definitely the Cheeto-dusted pout.
House of Flamin' Haute is located at 135 West 18th Street Manhattan, New York, NY, 10011.
