The city's beauty space has recently gotten the same treatment: Majesty's Pleasure is a relatively new beauty salon that also happens to be a lounge and cocktail bar.
To put it simply: you can get your hair done or opt for a facial while sipping on a glass of Champagne or a properly made aperitif. Think about the destination as the best pre-game in town. Even the manicure tables feel like top-notch cocktail bar seating options!
The Flatiron location of Majesty's Pleasure at 45 East 20th Street near Park Avenue South is the business' only U.S. address (Canada is home to another salon).
In addition to a la carte services, patrons can opt for a series of memberships. For $185 a month, for example, members can enjoy unlimited manicure and pedicure services, plus a glass of bubbly or coffee and tea beverages, 15% off additional services and discounts for friends. At $80 per month, the silver membership is the most affordable and it includes two signature manicures, drinks and a slew of discounts.
This weekend in particular, the social beauty club is running a pretty awesome promotion: the staff will be giving out 500 free manicures on a first-come, first-served basis from Friday, February 28, through Saturday, March 1, between 9am and 7pm. All patrons will also be receiving a free drink, light bites and a $25 gift card. They had us at free manicures.
