This human claw machine is debuting in NYC and Long Island this weekend

Except the potential prizes are even better than plushies.

Claw machine arcades have been popping up all over New York City, and brands are scrambling to create versions of the classic game that none of us have seen yet.

This weekend, the luggage brand BÉIS is doing exactly that, by installing two giant human claw machine games in Manhattan and Long Island, where you'll be able to snatch one of the brand's suitcases for free (if you're agile enough). Here's everything you need to take part in this strange but definitely worth it crane game.

The human claw machine will involve people getting strapped onto a harness from a massive crane. Once you're strapped in, they'll be lowered into a giant tub, where BÉIS bags, rollers and accessories will be spread out between inflatable balls. Once you're lowered within reach of a prize, you'll do your best to snatch one before being pulled back up into space, just like the claw machines of our childhoods (except, hopefully, with a much stronger grip).

The giant claw machine activation will happen at Bloomingdale’s on 59th Street in Manhattan and Roosevelt Field in Long Island on Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23, from 11am until 5pm.

The pop-up event is a celebration of the luggage brand's expanding partnership with Bloomingdale’s, as well as the return of its long-awaited Berry Collection. BÉIS was founded by actress, entrepreneur and Sunset Boulevard star Shay Mitchell and has become known for its stylish and functional travel products, with rollers that start at around $230 and super cute pink bags.

If you want to be strapped onto the giant claw machine, we suggest getting in line early—the brand's L.A. pop-up attracted a crowd that stretched down the block. With that in mind, happy clawing!
