Daylight Saving Time didn’t give these New Yorkers a longer night’s sleep on Sunday.
The New York City Marathon took over the streets of NYC yesterday with thousands of runners participating in one of the city’s biggest annual athletic events.
This year’s course once again wound through all five boroughs, starting in Staten Island and ending at the riotous finish line in Central Park where crowds gathered to cheer on the runners as they finished the 26.2 mile route.
Couldn't make it to cheer them on yourself? Time Out New York was at the finish line this weekend to capture some of the most heartwarming moments (and best signs) at the big event. They may be enough to even convince you to give it a go next year.
