The spookiest thing about this year’s Halloween Parade may have been the weather (no one likes a soggy All Hallows Eve) but that didn’t deter many enthusiastic ghouls and goblins from making it over to Sixth Avenue to participate in the city’s most frightening costumed event after SantaCon.

This year’s Village Halloween Parade was the 46th annual iteration of the spirited event and featured a pretty unique Grand Marshall: Zohra, the giant spider that descends from the Jefferson Market Library tower during the parade.

The theme for last night’s event was “Wild Things!” and there were definitely some pretty outlandish looks on display. If you didn’t feel up to braving the crowds this year, or maybe just forgot your umbrella, you can check out some of the best costumes below.
