It’s been years since we mourned the loss of New York’s legendary $1 slice. Between inflation, rising rent and supply chain issues, a regular pizza in NYC now costs around $3 to $4—and that’s if you’re lucky.

But this month, delivery service Seamless is taking us back. From now through May 20, the company is helping deliver $1 cheese slice across all five boroughs. That’s right: pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

More than 40 local pizzerias are participating in the promotion, including favorites like 2 Bros. Pizza, Patrizia’s Taverna, Gotham Pizza, Aegea, Due Fratelli and Gino’s Pizzeria, among many others.

You can browse the full list of participating spots and order your $1 slice for pickup right here. Keep in mind that the promotion covers up to five plain cheese slices per order, and it’s only redeemable once per day through May 20.

“The $1 cheese slice is more than just pizza—it’s part of the city’s DNA,” said Howard Migdal, CEO at Grubhub, which owns Seamless, in an official statement. “As a company born in NYC, we know what this slice means to people. It’s about culture, convenience, and that authentic NYC flavor. Simply put, it’s how New York eats. We’re proud to bring it back and celebrate the food culture that makes this city unlike anywhere else.”

A true New York pizza experience, a local rite of passage, is officially back—and our taste buds couldn't be happier about it.
