If you’ve ever had to shop at a 7-Eleven, there’s a good chance you probably wished you were in disguise. This Monday, the national chain is making that a bit easier by turning one of their New York locations into a Deadpool-themed fan paradise. Depending on your level of shame over being forced to cosplay in exchange for free food from a convenience store, this could really be an event worth hitting up.
From 9am until 5pm, one of those Manhattan 7-Elevens that feel like gas stations without any gas will be giving out free Deadpool-themed snacks and drinks. Anyone who stops by the Madison Square Park store at 224 Fifth Ave will be able to pick up a free Mutant Monster Slurpee, and those truly committed souls who go the extra mile by donning “Deadpool Eyes” will even be able to snag free pizza and Chimichangas. (Honestly, the pizza’s not that bad.)
Photo booths and face painting will also be available at the one-day pop-up as a new Deadpool Augmented Reality experience that you can try for yourself at the store via the 7-Eleven app. And all my local 7-Eleven has is bad coffee.
