Countless number of writers over the years have tried to capture the essence of New York City in words. That’s all fine and good, but in our newly dawning metaverse, we’ve got places to go and people to see. So as a new challenge, Time Out challenged our readers to try their best at capturing the spirit of New York via emojis. Check out some of the responses we’ve received so far below and you can weigh in the question yourself here. Need to do some field research first? Get out there and explore this weekend with our guide to the best things to do this weekend in NYC or the best Halloween events in NYC. Just remember: A picture’s worth a thousand words.
