Season one of HBO’s Sex and the City spinoff And Just Like That… was a headline-hogging hit in 2022, what with the return of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte to their Manhattan home turf on the small-screen, Mr Big’s unfortunate encounter with that Peloton and the (fairly glaring) absence of Kim Cattrall.

Well, Season 2 promises more of the same – and it’s on the hunt for New Yorkers to join the party.

HBO is looking for background performers for a very fancy-sounding ‘private jewelry party’ scene in Manhattan.

The show’s casting agents are looking for people of all genders and ethnicities, aged 20-50, to play ‘chic, hip and fashionable’ partygoers.

You just need to be over 18 years old and boast a ‘chic, fashion-forward cosmopolitan look’. Which rules us out straightaway.

If that sounds like you, email some current selfies or photos to ajlt@gwcnyc.com with the subject header ‘Jewelry event attendee submission’.

Include the following info:

  • Name
  • Age
  • Phone number
  • Union status
  • Confirmation that you have ID (passport, driver’s licence, social security number, etc).

The fee for ten-hour filming day is $165, plus $60 for taking the Covid test.

Season two will pick up with the ladies – now in their flirty fifties – dealing with some major life changes and, of course, the emotional fallout from Peloton-gate. Expect to see it – and maybe you – on HBO Max sometime later in 2023.
