The holidays are here, which means we get a hall pass to eat as many sweets as we want.
This week in particular, you're in luck: Lindt & Sprüngli's limited edition, TikTok-viral, Dubai chocolate will be available for one-day only this Thursday, December 12, at the Lindt New York Empire State shop starting at 9am.

So what's the big deal with this chocolate? It isn't just any ol' candy bar: the Dubai treat is filled with pistachio cream and crispy kadayif, a traditional Turkish dessert made up of shredded pastry layered, soaked in honey and often topped with nuts (you may be more familiar with its counterpart, baklava).
The bars dressed to the nines for their New York debut, too: they'll be sold in luxurious packaging that will go for $14.99 each. Anyone who manages to get their hands on a Dubai chocolate bar will receive a special certificate and other complimentary Lindt products to take home.
"We’re thrilled to introduce the Lindt Dubai Chocolate Bar to the U.S. for the first time this holiday season, and there's no better place to launch it than New York City,” said Ann Czaja, Lindt master chocolatier, in an official statement. "Our master chocolatiers have skillfully crafted the ingredients by hand, allowing chocolate lovers to taste the global flavor sensation that’s taken the world by storm in an unforgettable, luxurious experience."
The world-famous chocolate was created in 2021 by dessert mastermind Sarah Hamouda and the flavor has since gone viral online several times for it's unconventional (and, we're told, glorious) taste, inspired by flavors found in Dubai.
Celebrations throughout the day at the Empire State Building Lindt will mark the occasion, including free give-outs of chocolate samples and a raffle that will guarantee a very lucky winner a year's supply of Lindt Chocolate. Needless to say, try to get there early: the treats are sure to sell out fast.
If you can't make it this Thursday, here are other chocolate shops to get your chocolate fix in New York.
