It may come as no surprise to you that New York City has been deemed "the rudest city" in all of America in a new survey by Business Insider.

Out of a list of the 50 biggest cities in the US, 34.3 percent of survey takers placed New York City at the top, with Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. at No. 2 and 3.

The survey didn't specify exactly what makes New Yorkers rude, but we have some insight.

Maybe it's because the subways are too packed with manspreaders and our trains are late. Perhaps it's because everything costs an arm and a leg, or just maybe it's because we're so busy and tired that we don't have time for bullshit. There's a lot that drives us bonkers and many ways to piss us off

Last year, we did our own survey with readers about living in NYC and found that even New Yorkers believe that some of the long-held stereotypes about the citythat "people are rude" and "miserable"are true.

What do you think? Is there another city that should take the top spot?
