Anora, the indie film about a Brooklyn stripper marrying the son of a wealthy Russian oligarch, dominated last night's Oscars, taking home five awards in total, including best picture, best director and best lead actress.

Beyond its impressive haul, the film also helped shine a light on Brighton Beach, a lesser-known neighborhood in southern Brooklyn. The majority of the movie was set in the area, with many scenes shot along the iconic Coney Island boardwalk as well.
Below is a list of some of the most iconic filming locations from the movie in Brooklyn. With its newfound spotlight, Brighton Beach might just be ready for its close-up: how about spending the day there to celebrate the indie film's historic win?
Tatiana Restaurant & Nightclub
The Russian restaurant, a neighborhood staple since it opened in 1989, is where Ani and the Russian posse go search for Vanya.

Williams Candy Shop
The beloved sweets destination is an 84-year-old landmark in Coney Island, located at the corner of Surf Avenue. It's also the site of a pivotal scene in the movie, during which the shop is actually destroyed.

Parkview Diner
The classic American diner is where Ani and her friend meet up to chat about recent developments. The destination is featured a second time as well, when Ani visits on her own for a moment of solitary reflection.
156 Brighton 11th Street
This is Ani's houses address in Brighton Beach. Both the exterior and interior of the structure were featured in the movie.
