Bottomless brunch doesn't have to be boozy! And adding drag queens is always a good idea.

Non-alcoholic pop-up bar, Third Place Bar, just announced a Sober Drag Brunch on Sunday, June 18, to celebrate Pride without the substances.

Local queens Nancy Nogood and Emi Grate, the creator of the A Plus Drag Show, will host the booze-free brunch at Bushwick's Dromedary Urban Tiki Bar (one of our favorite spots for drag brunch).

Bottomless booze-free Mimosas and Bloody Marys will be offered, place plenty of slaying, lip-synching, opera singing, and all of the shenanigans of a typical NYC drag brunch, just sans alcohol.

This event is open to all ages, but there may be some light swearing and suggestive dancing (like maybe PG-13).

“I’m genuinely honored to be given the opportunity to host our first-ever sober drag brunch,” says Sam Bail, creator of Third Place. “It’s the kind of event that is usually associated with excessive drinking, but I want to show our guests that it doesn’t matter what’s in your glass in front of you. If you’re with your friends, enjoying good food and drinks, and watching amazing performers you’re going to have a great time!”

Third Place Bar is currently a pop-up and aims to be a friendly neighborhood bar where everybody knows your name, a place to stop on the way home, chat up the bartender, bring friends or make new friends, all while making it easier not to drink. The space welcomes everyone, whether they’re taking a night off, a sober-cation or are on a sobriety journey. Dromedary typically sells alcohol, so it will be on the bar’s shelves, but not served or available during the event from 2pm - 5pm.

Tickets start at $36 for one brunch dish and one drink, or $54 for bottomless booze-free drinks. Seating is first come, first served. Bring cash to tip the queens.
