In celebration of the 50th anniversary of their iconic album Dressed to Kill, KISS is launching a free, self-guided walking audio tour that takes fans through the band’s history via iconic NYC landmarks.

Narrated with interviews from band members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, plus photographer Bob Gruen, the tour will be available starting this Saturday at kissonline.com.

We hear through the grapevine that some superfans are already planning to meet at West 23rd Street and 8th Avenue—where the album cover was originally shot and where the tour officially begins—to experience it together but, if you can't make it, feel free to listen to it from anywhere else. The audio file is basically an oral history of the band's deep ties to New York City.

“Exactly 50 years ago, on March 19, 1975, Dressed to Kill was released, featuring one of KISS’ most iconic photos— the band dressed in bespoke suits, posing on the corner of West 23rd & 8th Avenue,” reads an official press release. “That image and location have become legendary in KISS history, and on March 22, the audio tour will give fans a chance to explore the band’s relationship with New York firsthand.”

Also on Saturday, fans can stop by renowned record store Generation Records at 210 Thompson Street for a special KISS merch pop-up!

Perhaps... you can actually get "dressed to kill" in awesome merch before embarking on the walking extravaganza.
