Knitting Factory plays host to a panoply of international rhythms at this event, featuring Brooklyn afrobeat ensemble Zongo Junction and New York's finest Balkan brass band, Slavic Soul Party!, which offers a spritely mix of gypsy, klezmer and funk, seasoned with New Orleans jazz. Also on the bill is Boston's Debo Band, specializing in slick Ethiopian funk.
