Wild Flag

An indie supergroup truly worthy of the designation, Wild Flag features Mary Timony (Helium, Autoclave), Rebecca Cole, and Sleater-Kinney members Janet Weiss and Carrie Brownstein—the latter a moonlighting sketch comic and general jack-of-all-trades. Needless to say, the band has a tasty line in supports at this three-show run. Sonic Youth axman Lee Ranaldo opens at the Bell House, and Eleanor Friedberger—she of mighty locals the Fiery Furnaces—opens at Maxwell's and at the Bowery, with Hospitality.
