Wicked Knee + Mago + Caveman with Cyro Baptista

In Wicked Knee, Medeski Martin & Wood drummer Billy Martin mixes ragtime and avant-garde notions with three brass players well-suited to the task: Sex Mob trumpeter Steven Bernstein, Jazz Passengers trombonist Curtis Fowlkes and first-call tubaist Marcus Rojas. Mago finds Martin sparring with a familiar face, John Medeski; rounding out the bill is local combo Caveman (an eclectic groove band, not the indie-rock outfit of the same name), working with eruptive Brazilian percussionist Cyro Baptista.
