Now in its third year, this two-day festival showcases some of the New York area's most innovative vocal-music pioneers. On Saturday night, adventurous audiences will get a taste of Judith Berkson's forthcoming opera about 19th-century Viennese cantor Salomon Sulzer; a new song-cycle for two voices, borrowed piano, houseplant and shoes by Gelsey Bell and Paul Pinto; and Dafna Naphtali's high-tech performance piece {kaleid-o-phone}. Sunday's show focuses on the voice paired with strings: a solo work by vocalist-violinist Iva Bittová, throat-singing from Toby Twining (paired with cello) and the worldly vocal duo SoCorpo.
