Vernon Reid and Free Form Funky Freqs

One of New York's most recognizable guitarists, Vernon Reid is also among the more protean: at home in hard rock, funk, avant-jazz and mixtures thereof. Tonight, the Living Colour axman opens a two-week series booked by the Thirsty Ear record label with guests as yet unannounced, then closes with his hard-core free-funk combo with bassist Jamaaladeen Tacuma and drummer G. Calvin Weston.
