Triptykon

Earlier this year, Swiss extreme-metal pioneer Tom G. Warrior (Hellhammer, Celtic Frost) issued Eparistera Daimones, the cold yet strangely catchy debut from his new band, Triptykon, and a worthy follow-up to Celtic Frost's stunning 2006 swan song, Monotheist. Middle age isn't always kind to artists in Warrior's chosen genre, but it's clear that the 47-year-old is currently doing the best work of his career.
