The Virgins + Mykki Blanco + Grand Rapids

CBGB Festival. Hey, remember the Virgins, that downtown favorite that sounded partly like groovy art punk from the late ’70s and partly like Bravery-esque dance rock from the early ’00s? Well, the Donald Cumming–led crew recently returned with its first new material in four years, and tonight it heads up a CBGB fest bill. Opening are loose, offbeat local indie-rockers Grand Rapids.
