Satirical Bay Area band the Tubes started out as a flamboyant shock-rock act, as well known for singer Fee Waybill’s alter egos (Quay Lewd, Dr. Strangekiss) as for the cult-classic single "White Punks on Dope." In the ’80s, the band cleaned up its act and became MTV darlings with hits like "She’s a Beauty" and "Talk to Ya Later." This B.B.'s show will likely reflect both aspects; we’ll be the ones in the back shouting out requests for the group's most divine single, "Prime Time."
