Larry Livermore, the Bay Area punk-scene mainstay who cofounded Lookout! Records (which introduced the world to Green Day, Operation Ivy, Screeching Weasel and others), jumped back into the game recently with a new comp, The Thing That Ate Larry Livermore. Tonight and tomorrow, the Knit hosts bands featured on the album, including the Copyrights and Dear Landlord on Monday, and Emily's Army and House Boat on Tuesday. If you like your punk speedy, snotty and melodic as hell, these gigs are for you.
