The Sound of Spring: A Chinese New Year Concert with The Orchestra Now

Orchestra Now will ring in the Year of the Snake on January 26 at The Sound of Spring, featuring guest appearances by the erhu (the two stringed Chinese instrument) soloist Yan Guowei, the percussionist Zhang Jungli, and the sheng master Wang Lei, all faculty from the world famous Central Conservatory of Music in China. To top it all off, Jinou Anastasia Dong, the winner of the Bard Conservatory’s Concerto Competition, will be making her NYC debut. Check it all out at the Rose Theater of Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P.
