The Real Fireworks with Marc Ribot + M.A.K.U. Soundsystem

We Resist!, a concert series platforming progressive music that responds to social injustice, presents a night with maverick guitarist Ribot, who is widely admired as much for his eclecticism as for his proficiency. The six-string maestro presents a new project Songs of Resistance and co-bills with M.A.K.U. Soundsystem, a self-identified immigrant band from New York City that combines touches of traditional Colombian percussion, psych-rock, Caribbean grooves, funky synthesizers and more into a uniquely diverse concoction.
