Time Out says

North Jersey indie-rock legends the Feelies drew on the Velvet Underground long before the influence became de rigueur, creating wired, bookish rock at a time when the Vampire Weekend kids were but twinkles in their parents’ eyes. The band hits White Eagle Hall in Jersey City to play a tribute to Lou Reed's iconic group which coincides with the opening of "The Velvet Underground Experience", a three-month exhibition which opens in Manhattan on October 10. The group plays an entire set dedicated to Velvet's material including beloved tracks of their own.
