The Budos Band

This funky instrumental combo, part of the fine Daptone Records roster, points heavily to Fela and often evokes blaxploitation soundtracks from back in the day. As heard on 2014's Burnt Offering, the group has lately been beefing up its sound with doomy acid-rock excursions.
