The Brand New Heavies

The new funk of this resurrected Brit party band isn’t quite as clubland-punchy as it was back when the genre was called acid jazz, but in recent years, singer N’Dea Davenport has returned to the fold. A long awaited new album is due this year (not long to go now, Heavies!) with a hip-hop collabo slated for 2013.
