For the past year and a half, Botanica's Paul Wallfisch has been presenting the Small Beast, a great weekly series at the Delancey. Wallfisch is about to both move to Germany (where he will be music director of the Stadt Theater Dortmund) and release two new albums, one by Botanica (Who You Are) and the other with Little Annie (Genderful). To celebrate, he moves Small Beast to a huge room—the striking former synagogue Angel Orensanz Foundation. The lineup looks stellar, with performances from Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson, Savoir Adore, Botanica, Bee and Flower, Little Annie and Paul Wallfisch, and Barbez.
