Originally an under-the-radar artist known as a pensive folk singer-songwriter, Sun Kil Moon (née Mark Kozelek) rose in the media-acclaim ranks after releasing his haunting magnum opus, Benji, early in 2014. Since then, his quiet bard image has given way to a host of goofy controversy (see his wholly unwarranted song "War On Drugs, Suck My Cock"), amid a slew of strong new releases: a collab with industrial metalist Jesu, and this year's Odyssian double-album, Common as Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood, which clocks in at just over two hours. Expect to hear selections from the mega-album (and maybe a new diss track?) at this Town Hall show.
