SummerStage Gala: Honoring the Music of Jimi Hendrix

Throughout the summer, the city throws more or less amazing concerts at Central Park and other green spaces around town. Tonight's opening gala, produced by City Winery, helps fund things. The night features the songs of the legendary axman. Soulive serves as the house band; all-star performers include G. Love and Special Sauce, Bebel Gilberto, Amel Larrieux, Living Colour, the Roots, John Scofield and more.
