Gotta hand it to the dude, though—he hasn't let up on his fret-shredding ways since his days studying with Joe Satriani, counting among his many achievements stints with both Zappa and David Lee Roth, a still-thriving solo career and a new album (his 16th!), The Story of Light. He shares a bill with Beverly McClellan, a belter you might've heard on The Voice.
