Steve Turre

Trombonist Steve Turre is a fixture in the Saturday Night Live band, but his star credentials go back to his work with trumpeter Woody Shaw. The eclectic bone man (and sometime conch-shell player) enlivens your weekend with a band featuring saxist Bruce Williams, pianist Xavier Davis, bassist Gerald Cannon and drummer Willie Jones III.
