Spectrum + Cheval Sombre + The Vacant Lots

Spectrum is the work of one Peter Kember/Sonic Boom—the main dude from Spacemen 3 who did not go on to form Spiritualized. Looks like someone is currently having the last laugh: Kember produced MGMT's big-selling new album, Congratulations. We prefer another album that he recently recorded: Cheval Sombre's self-titled debut. Like Kember’s own work, Sombre’s songs are deeply psychedelic, swathed in an enigmatic haze.
