English boy-girl duo Slow Club celebrates sophomore release Paradise, a pleasant departure from its too-sweet debut toward a richer and darker brand of folk-rock. Local outfit Air Waves, which performs unassuming folk-pop songs that partake of a bittersweet nostalgia, opens tonight, and Canadian up-and-comers Ohbijou kick things off with Lightyear tomorrow.
