Icelandic band Sigur Rós maintains a seemingly unpiercable facade beyond its remote native land—blame it on the combo's brainy, loose dreamscapes, as heard on a new effort, Valtari, which marries classic Sigur Rós solemnity with the newer, more vibrant sound as heard on its poppier 2008 LP. The group also just caused a stir by releasing a music video starring a very naked Shia LaBeouf playing with butterflies. Edgy art scandals aside, Sigur Rós's gorgeous mystery should make for a magical night in the park, especially with fractured indie-pop artist Perfume Genius leading off.
