This Housing Works benefit concert combines three buzzy indie powerhouses on this intriguingly heterogenous bill: indie-popper Shamir Bailey who raps and croons over undeniably infectious R&B-infused four-on-the-floor beats; Waxahatchee, the vulnerable and triumphant-yet--bittersweet indie-pop project of singer-songsmith Katie Crutchfield; and Jordan Lee's wistful, dreamy and amorphous orchestral folk collective Mutual Benefit. Proceeds go toward Housing Works' wraparound services and supportive programs for New Yorkers living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
