Sam Mickens presents Kayfabe: Game of Death

In order to get the necessary funds for Dead Science frontman Sam Mickens's conceptual music piece based on professional wrestling—"kayfabe" being the professional code in wrestling to act out the events as if they were real—the multi-instrumentalist turned to Kickstarter. And, gauging from the project's success on the fund-raising website, the fertile conceptual ground of kayfabe should open the floodgates for one of the year's most strangely compelling shows.
