Even if another local gig for the recently reunited Quicksand failed to materialize for this four-day festival celebrating the seminal punk label that issued the band's debut single, there's still a lot on offer. Also absent are old-school NYHC acts like CIV and Judge, but the lineup includes tuneful emo progenitor Texas Is the Reason (Oct 11), metallic local dynamo Sick of It All (Oct 12), straight-edge Cali crew Chain of Strength (Oct 13), and Staten Island post-hardcore supergroup Into Another (Oct 14) alongside latter-day labelmates such as Shook Ones and Shai Hulud.
