Phil Woods Quintet

Altoist Phil Woods was one of the earliest disciples of bebop architect Charlie Parker, but these days he's just as well-known for the sax solo he added to Billy Joel’s "Just the Way You Are." Woods has maintained one of the finest touring ensembles in jazz for decades now; tonight's lineup includes trumpeter Brian Lynch, pianist Bill Mays, bassist Steve Gilmore and drummer Bill Goodwin.
