Patrick Watson + Great Lake Swimmers

Having opened for Andrew Bird earlier this summer, the talented Canadian folk band Patrick Watson (led by singer Patrick Watson—must get confusing in the studio) headlines in support of its latest release, Adventures in Your Own Backyard. It's a melodic affair, gentle and loping, sure to please fans of Antony and the Johnsons and Jeff Buckley. Toronto’s Tony Dekker, who records under the moniker Great Lake Swimmers, plays bare-bones songs in the opening slot.
