Oliver Lake: Alto Madness

The fall series presented by venerable experimental-music collective the AACM continues with Oliver Lake, a wizardly avant-jazz alto veteran known for his work in the World Saxophone Quartet, Trio 3 and countless other projects. Here he harks back to the WSQ, leading a four-sax lineup featuring fellow alto specialists Darius Jones, Bruce Williams and Anthony Ware, as well as drummer Pheeroan akLaff.
