Check out our top picks for this year’s summer concerts in NYC, including info on free and outdoor shows
Northside Festival is a bit like Brooklyn's version of SXSW: a smaller, more focused take on the Austin behemoth that brings together club-size showcases, outdoor concerts and tech-related talks and panels. Now in its 10th year, Northside Music is set for June 7–10, 2018, with events across a range of local venues and outdoor stages. The initial lineup includes Liz Phair (with rising indie-rock act Soccy Mommy opening), hip-hop from milo and Mndsgn, wild improv from art-rockers Deerhoof, jazz (Jeff Parker and Makaya McCraven to name a few) and more. Music badges—which will let you hop around from gig to gig, capacity pending—are on sale now. Dig into the full list of announced acts below.
