New Riders of the Purple Sage + Adrian Niles Band

Mellow, Grateful Dead–affiliated country-rockers New Riders of the Purple Sage have long dwelled in that band's gargantuan shadow, but they built up their own solid fan base in the ’70s. Expect some tie-dye-clad old-timers to show up tonight; they may not even miss the absence of chief songsmith John Dawson, who passed away in ’09.
