Her themed sets—which have thus far included studies of convicted murderer Barbara Graham, environmentalist Rachel Carson and transgender bandleader Billy Tipton—are especially bonkers, in a wonderful way. This latest is devoted to a groundbreaking late comedian who, for legal reasons, strongly but only tacitly resembles Joan Rivers.
