Yannick Nézet-Séguin will lead an extraordinary orchestra made up of young professional musicians who previously took part in Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the USA, a training program for the brightest American teen musicians. These young musicians have gone on to join world-class orchestras like the the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Danish Orchestra and more. Pianist Daniil Trifonov joins as soloist in this landmark performance at Carnegie Hall, with the all-star selection of NYO-USA alums performing Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 7, “Leningrad.”
