Nashville Pussy + Valient Thorr + Against the Grain

Coed Atlanta raunch-rock quartet Nashville Pussy shows no signs of slowing down: It still offers the aural equivalent of bingeing on buffalo wings and porn. As for the live show, it's sort of like if Skynyrd and Motörhead gigged at Hooters. Also on board is Chapel Hill, NC's Valient Thorr, which continues to serve up hearty Southern-metal weirdness, blending tasty Thin Lizzy–style riffery with gonzo prog-thrash moves.
