© Richard TermineThree vibrant New York City-based artists perform in My City, My Song, a colorful, interactive concert that provides an opportunity for kids to learn about New York City's diverse musical and cultural traditions. Athens-born pianist, accordionist, and singer Magda Giannikou performs exuberant music rooted in Greek traditions. Indian singer Falu Shah blends Eastern and Western music into a unique "Indie-Hindi" style. Kora player and singer Yacouba Sissoko shares stories and songs from his native Mali.

Bring your kiddos for these highly interactive concerts on Saturday, January 14 at Carnegie Hall. This weekend's Musical Explorers Family Concerts feature Gullah music, Malian traditional music and hip-hop. There will also be free pre-concert activities offered one hour before each performance to help prep parents and children to sing and dance along with the artists.

The shows are geared for ages 4-8. There's limited availability so be sure to call in advance to see if you can score tickets (212-247-7800).
